WPP has appointed Anne-Isabelle Choueiri as its new chief transformation officer, tasking her with leading the delivery of its ambitious Elevate28 growth strategy.
Choueiri joins from The Estée Lauder Companies, where she led major enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, including shaping the company’s “One ELC” operating model and advancing its marketing, data and AI capabilities.
In the newly created role, Choueiri will oversee the design and implementation of the operational backbone behind Elevate28, WPP’s three-year growth plan unveiled in February 2026. Her remit includes driving innovation and efficiency across the business, with a focus on delivering more agile, integrated and outcome-driven solutions for clients.
She will work closely with WPP’s product and enterprise technology teams to scale the use of AI, data and emerging technologies, while also partnering with its people function to embed a high-performance culture aimed at accelerating transformation across the organisation.
Cindy Rose said Choueiri’s experience leading large-scale change across operations, technology and culture made her a critical hire for the business.
“Delivering on our Elevate28 strategy requires us to fundamentally transform how we operate and how we show up for clients,” Rose said. “Anne-Isabelle has a proven track record of leading this kind of evolution at scale… and I’m delighted to welcome her to the team as we work together to unlock our next chapter of growth.”
Choueiri added that she was joining WPP at a “pivotal moment” for the company, pointing to its ambition to become a more integrated and innovation-led partner to clients.
“Lasting transformation requires the right culture and operational mindset,” she said. “I’m excited to help build an environment where innovation thrives and our people are empowered to embrace change.”
Prior to The Estée Lauder Companies, Choueiri held senior roles at Accenture, Masaï — a Bain & Company spin-off — and Kearney, as well as leading data and digital marketing agencies.
Based in New York, she will join WPP’s executive committee as the company pushes forward with its transformation agenda.
