After absolutely nailing Triple J’s Like A Version with their romp-stomping cover of Tame Impala’s ‘Elephant’, The Wiggles have released a new album and TV special, ‘Lullabies With Love’.
Billed as the key to saving Aussies from the onset of winter blues, the album will contain a selection of delightful, brand-new songs based around the day that Simon (red), Emma (yellow), Lachy (purple) and Anthony (blue, and an OG Wiggle) look after baby Dorothy the Dinosaur who needs lots of love and care.
‘Lullabies with Love’ is also set in a brand-new Wiggle Town, complete with a road crossing, pirate ship, Wiggles’ House, beach, dog kennel and rose garden.
‘Lullabies with Love’ is full of songs to calm, to entertain, to sing along to or to help tell the story – with every song and story reinforcing the love The Wiggles have for their friends and for baby Dorothy.
‘The Wiggles: Lullabies with Love’ standalone special was released earlier this week and is available to own on DVD or stream on platforms including iTunes, Google Play, Foxtel, Fetch, Telstra and Amazon.
The Wiggles will embark on their Great Wiggly Road Trip Tour of regional New South Wales and Queensland next month, kicking off in Penrith, NSW on July 8th.
Audiences can expect to hear all their favourite classic Wiggles songs like ‘Hot Potato’ or ‘Rock a Bye Your Bear’ as well as newer songs like ‘We’re All Fruit Salad’ and The Wiggles Triple J – Like A Version of ‘Elephant’.
