“What In Straight Hell!” Burger King Roasted Online For Top/Bottom Pride Month Burger

Burger King Austria’s attempt at celebrating Pride Month is facing tons of backlash, with the fast-food company debuting a Top/Bottom burger in the name of Pride.

Burger King Austria took to social media and showed off its “Pride Whopper!” The burger will be for sale until June 20th.

And what makes it so prideful, you ask? Well, it differentiates itself from a classic Whopper burger by being sold with two “two equal buns.” So, the burger either comes with two bottom halves or two top halves, yes, really.

Assumedly this is a play on the slang phrases, “top” and “bottom” used in the LGBTQIA+ community referring to who is the receiver or giver sexually. Yes, Burger King Austria – went there!

The tagline is, “Time to be proud!” I guess, go big or go home! Perhaps it would have been better just to go home in this case.

While this campaign is only for Austria, it has gone international because, some people find it a bit offensive.

Well, you can’t accuse Burger King Austria of playing it safe.
