10’s new craft competition show Making It Australia has premiered at under 500,000 viewers, according to OzTAM’s metro data.
The new program, which features Susie Youssef and Harley Breen as hosts, and takes its cue from the US show Making It, had an average viewership of 474,000.
The top rated entertaintment show was The Block, which had 810,000 viewers, followed by Seven’s SAS Australia, which had 654,000 viewers.
On top overall was Seven News with 1,070,00 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,021,000, ABC News with 725,000 and A Current Affair with 722,000.
The rest of Seven’s night saw Home and Away score 604,000 viewers while The Chase had 571,000 and RFDS had 417,000.
Over at the ABC, Hard Quiz had 601,000 viewers, tying with 7.30. Rosehaven had 467,000 viewers and Question Everything had 463,000.
For Nine, Hot Seat had 521,000 viewers and Paramedics had 472,00, while for 10, The Project had 460,000.
And, in bonus news, Nine’s Today beat Sunrise for the first time in three years, at 248,000 viewers to 237,000.
On top overall was the Nine Network, which had 29.3 per cent of the dialy share. In second was the Seven Network with 28.3 per cent. It was a very tight race for third, with Network 10 just besting the ABC TV Network at 17.4 per cent to 17.0 per cent. The SBS Network had 8.1 per cent.
Looking now to OzTAM’s Total TV numbers for September 8th, Seven News was out on top with a Total TV audience of 1,768,000 viewers (metro: 1,086,000, regional: 643,000 and BVOD: 36,000).
In second was Nine News, which had a Total TV audience of 1,498,000 (metro: 1,061,000, regional: 399,000 and BVOD: 38,000), while in third was The Block with a total audience of 1,421,000 (metro: 832,000, regional: 318,000 and BVOD: 187,000).
The program with the highest lift on overnight was the ABC’s Rosehaven at 53 per cent. It had a Total TV audience of 866,000.
