10 premiered the first episode of Mirror Mirror on Wednesday, with the second episode to follow on Thursday.
The program, hosted by Todd Sampson, tackles the broad, complex issue of body image. According to OzTAM’s metro data, episode one scored 572,000 viewers. You can read B&T’s interview with Sampson here.
Out on top of entertainment was The Block, which had 834,000 viewers, while in second was Seven’s Home and Away with 612,000 and in third, ABC’s Hard Quiz, with 591,000.
Overall, Seven News performed best with 1,086,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,061,000.
The rest of Seven’s night saw The Chase score 549,000 viewers, followed by RFDS with 427,000. A second episode of RFDS had 396,000 viewers, and Nurses had 378,000.
For Nine, A Current Affair nabbed 739,000 viewers, Paramedics had 472,000 and Hot Seat had 459,000.
It was a full night of programming for the ABC: ABC News had 703,000 viewers, 7.30 had 584,000, Question Everything had 410,000 and Rosehaven had 399,000.
Finally, as well as Mirror Mirror, 10 had The Project with 498,000 viewers.
Once again, the Nine Network won the night overall with 30.2 per cent of the daily share. Next was the Seven Network with 27 per cent, then Network 10 with 18.3 per cent.
The ABC TV Network followed closely behind 10 with 16.3 per cent, while the SBS Network had 8.3 per cent.
