A weather presenter has had a massive on-air tantrum after viewers complained he’d cut into an episode of The Bachelorette to warn them of the dangers of a pending tornado.
The good folk of Dayton, Ohio were watching the popular dating show when Fox 45 weatherman Jamie Simpson interrupted the show to warn viewers they were possibly about to lose their roofs in a monster storm.
Simpson then saw comments on social media telling him to get off and get back to The Bachie action.
It was then the goodly weather guy exploded: “I was just checking social media and we have viewers complaining already – ‘just go back to the show.’
“No, we’re not going back to the show folks. This is a dangerous situation, okay?
“Think if this was your neighbourhood? I’m sick and tired of people complaining about this,” he hollered.
He then went on to describe the complainants as “pathetic”, “ridiculous” and “this is not about my ego”.
