Adtech firm Veridooh, which provides independent verification for out-of-home media, has appointed David Sutherland (main image) as head of client and partnerships, APAC, to drive long-term success for its clients.
Sutherland brings more than 15 years of experience in the OOH sector to Veridooh. He was most recently general manager of programmatic at QMS where he spent the past nine years. Prior to this he worked at oOh!media and media agencies such as Carat Australia.
In the newly created role at Veridooh, Sutherland will focus on strengthening the business’ relationships with key stakeholders, including media agencies, brands, and media owners. This involves working closely with clients to ensure they are achieving their objectives using Veridooh’s unmatched set of data and insights, as well as looking ahead to find new opportunities for client success. Sutherland will also focus on enhancing Veridooh’s industry-leading programmatic solution as the business expands in Australia and overseas.
Veridooh co-founder Mo Moubayed said: “We are thrilled to have someone with David’s experience in OOH join us during what’s been a busy and exciting year for our team.
“We’re hyper focused on keeping clients at the centre of what we do to ensure their long-term success with us which is how we measure our success as we grow. Having David on board means we can better understand clients’ needs and work more closely with them to ensure we’re delivering increased value through our products.”
Sutherland was one of the first members to join QMS when it launched in Australia and contributed to its expansion in the local market. In his most recent role as QMS general manager of programmatic, he was responsible for elevating the business’ position in digital and programmatic OOH.
“The value Veridooh adds to its clients, and in turn to the entire OOH sector, is evident through its growth over the past two years which has been impressive to watch during my time at QMS,” Sutherland said.
“Veridooh has a unique ability to help advertisers optimise their media planning and ensure they’re getting the most out of their OOH campaigns. I look forward to working with clients to unlock new growth opportunities through independent verification.
“I’d like to thank QMS for the past nine years. I’ve had the opportunity to work with talented people who I will miss as I begin this new chapter with Veridooh.”
Sutherland’s appointment follows a significant period of growth for Veridooh which is the preferred verification partner for GroupM, IPG Mediabrands, and Omnicom Media Group.
The company officially launched its UK team in August and expanded its Australian sales and engineering teams to meet the growing demand for its independent verification solution, which verifies digital, programmatic, and static OOH in one platform.
