Val Morgan Outdoor Switches On New Fancy Ultra Screen

Digital out-of-home provider Val Morgan Outdoor has switched on its new premium large-format digital screen named – Ultra at The Jam Factory on Melbourne’s busy Chapel Street.

The Ultra screen uses state-of-the-art software to deliver interactive, dynamic content in real time using the superior quality of 4K technology.

Managing director Anthony Deeble said; “Ultra screen is our newest product to market and this is a proud moment for Val Morgan Outdoor. We’ve championed innovation in the Digital Out-of-Home category and our latest investment in premium inventory will provide a superior experience. The screens quality is second-to-none and we’re really excited to be rolling out more units like this in the months to follow.”

Val Morgan Outdoor is currently undergoing an extensive expansion programme that will see network coverage growing to over 800 retail and petrol locations with more than 4,000 digital screens in the coming months. They have also revealed this stage of the expansion project focuses on the development of best-in-class digital screens that are capable of delivering superior quality and engaging content.

Deeble added; “Ultra, an Ultra HD 4K format is the highest resolution currently available in any shopping centre in Australia. Capable of brilliant resolutions in full animation that can even be shown in a unique extra-wide 8:3 aspect format ratio or in standard 16:9 aspect, content will truly intensify levels of engagement and provide greater impact for advertisers.”

The new Ultra screen at The Jam Factory measures over three metres in length. For other locations in the rollout screens will be up to four metres. The full screen can be used for advertising while one third can be used for entertaining, localised content. The dynamic nature of the large format screen means this can vary.

The landmark location is in one of Melbourne’s favourite suburbs; South Yarra. The affluent suburb attracts shoppers, foodies and entertainment seekers alike. The Jam Factory, has four beehives on its roof as part of a community sustainability initiative.

The additional screens have been added to the Val Morgan Outdoor network for immediate sales.
