USQ unleashes ‘fearless’ through Brother and CThe University of Southern Queensland (USQ) has launched a set of fresh film and TVC assets as part its Fearless campaign, developed by newly appointed Brisbane-based independent agency, Brother and Co.
The work, created with real USQ students, staff and graduates, positions the university as one that not only helps its students discover knowledge, but also develop the belief to put it to use.
Executive creative director of Brother, Piet Human, said the TVC showcases three USQ students and their fearless pursuit of learning and growth. “USQ has a relentless spirit of teaching and doing. It’s seen them grow from a regional university to one of Australia’s foremost online education providers.
“We not only wanted to capture this spirit, but show how USQ instils it in their students, allowing them to unleash their own sense of fearlessness.”

Executive director of marketing and student attraction at USQ, Helen Nolan, said the Fearless positioning was already resonating with prospective and existing students alike.
“The opportunity with the TVC was to further dimensionalise Fearless, but do it in a meaningful way,” she said.
You only have to spend a few minutes with the students featured in the TVC to sense the self-belief they have discovered and the difference USQ has made to their professional lives.”
The campaign is set to air from Sunday, 22 January 2017 on all major television networks in Queensland.
