When it comes to sporting codes and ads, the NFL does not disappoint (think Super Bowl).
So it’s little surprise to see chip-maker Frito-Lay North America unveil a star-studded ‘Twas the Night Before Kickoff’ campaign to celebrate the upcoming season.
The ad features two of the game’s most high-profile players Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski dressed up in pyjamas excitedly awaiting the season, which will see the two former New England Patriots line-up for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the first time.
The ad also features San Francisco 49ers assistant coach Katie Sowers, who earlier this year became the first female and first openly gay coach in a Super Bowl.

Frito-Lay North America SVP and CMO Rachel Ferdinando said the campaign aimed the capture the ‘magic’ of the start of the season.
“There’s something magical about NFL Kickoff that truly evokes this sense of excitement and anticipation — it’s a time when fans can set their hopes and dreams for their team,” she said.
“This year, the return of the NFL matters more than ever. America is looking for a sense of normalcy, and the return of one of the country’s largest cultural events is sure to provide that joy. Our campaign is meant to tap into the excitement and anticipation kickoff provides and evoke some of the same magical feelings we have during the holiday season.”
