Seven’s Farmer Wants a Wife was Monday night’s standout performer, coming in a third with a Total TV National Reach of 1,652,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 915,000.
Last night’s episode was the highly anticipated Annual Country Ball. What was once a wholesome highlight in the early seasons of the show, the event has steadily evolved into one of the most tension-filled nights on the farming calendar.
The drama, however, began well before anyone laced up their boots. Episode four picked up the morning after Jason’s decision to keep all of his women, a call that did not sit well with Jessica. Having stewed on it overnight, she chose to leave the competition of her own accord. She became the fifth women to leave the show voluntarily thus far.
Seven’s The Chase Australia and Nine’s Tipping Point Australia continued their steady performances coming in at fourth and fifth respectively. Seven’s quiz show drew in a national reach of 1,6333,000 and an average audience of 827,000, while it’s competitor on Nine brought in a national reach of 1,620,000 and an average audience of 859,000.
On Ten, MasterChef Australia pulled in a national reach of 1,266,000 and an average audience of 744,00 for Sweet Week. Last night’s episode centred on an Ice Cream Taste Test, with the four contestants who incorrectly identified their ingredients sent straight into an elimination cook.
Jackie’s cinnamon ice cream became her downfall, with judge Jean-Christophe Novelli finding the cake still raw inside. She left the competition in tears, becoming the latest casualty from the top 12.
SBS’s FIFA World Cup 2026 coverage drew respectable numbers across three matches that included Netherlands v Japan, Sweden v Tunisia and Côte d’Ivoire v Ecuador. The figures reflect the reality of an international tournament being played in North American time zones, with Australians increasingly tuning out as the working week resumed.
On the ABC, Australian Story came in at sixteenth with a national reach of 966,000 and an average audience of 619,000.
