The Voice continued to perform for Seven, scoring again over a million viewers at 1,066,000, as per OzTAM’s metro data.
Once again, it resoundingly beat its time slot competitors, including The Block, which also launched on Sunday. The Block scored 634,000 viewers, and was also beaten by Australian Survivor, which had 664,000, continuing a consistence performace.
On top overall was Seven News with 1,185,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,108,000. A Current Affair was next with 823,000 viewers, followed by ABC News with 757,000.
There was also a handful of new premieres on Tuesday night. Nine’s Andy Lee-fronted game show, The Hundred With Andy Lee launched at just under 500,000 viewers, with 484,000 in total. Seven’s new show Australia: Now and Then – pitting celebrities from different generations against each other – fared slightly better at 516,000 viewers.
The ABC also presented their new doco series Back To Nature, hosted by author Holly Ringland and actor Aaron Pedersen, to 363,000 viewers.
Also on for Seven was Home and Away with 733,000 viewers, The Chase with 601,000, while Nine had Hot Seat at 497,000 and Nine’s Afternoon News with 344,000.
On 10, The Project had 546,000 viewers while 10 News First had 409,000. Finally for the ABC, 7.30 hd 595,000 viewers.
The Seven Network won the night overall with 32.5 per cent of the daily share. The Nine Network came second with 26.4 per cent, while Network 10 had 19.2 per cent, the ABC TV Network had 15 per cent and the SBS Network had 7 per cent.
