There was another bumper night for The Block, which has hit a solid momentum.
Last night’s episode – featuring a cubby house challenge – scored 971,000 viewers, launching it easily to the top of the entertainment ratings. In fairness, it had neither The Voice or Australian Survivor to compete against, but impressive numbers nonetheless.
On top overall was Seven News with 1,128,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,066,000. A Current Affair had 828,000 viewers while ABC News had 722,000.
In other entertainment, Seven’s Home and Away and The Chase had 602,000 and 595,000 viewers respectively.
Nine had Hot Seat with 505,00 viewers, as well as game show The Hundred With Andy Lee, which scored 484,000.
Finally in entertainment was ABC doco series Back To Nature, which had 334,000 viewers.
The rest of the ABC’s night saw 7.30 score 586,000 viewers, while the rest of Nine’s night had the afternoon news at 346,000.
On 10, The Project Presents 9/11: 20 Years On had 352,000 viewers, while 10 News First had 350,000.
The Nine Network secured 33.7 per cent of the daily share, winning the night overall. In second was the Seven Network with 25.0 per cent, followed by Network 10 with 17.9 per cent. Then was the ABC TV Network with 15.2 per cent and the SBS Network with 8.3 per cent.
