Network Ten has set the sirens blaring after its fly-on-the wall doco-drama Ambulance Australia was the most watched entertainment show of Tuesday night.
In just its second episode, Ambulance Australia pulled 684,000 viewers last night and was up a hefty 102,000 from last week’s debut.
However, it was Seven that took last night’s honours, the network taking home 28.3 per cent of the audience share. Nine wasn’t far behind with 27 per cent, Ten took 18.4 per cent and the ABC had 17 per cent.
Poor old SBS came agonisingly close to double figures, a combination of Insight (317,000) and Michael Portillo’s Abandoned Britain (276,000), giving it 9.3 per cent audience share.
Over at Seven, its disappointing date show Take Me Out got a small kick, snaring 489,000. The network’s other highlights included its 6pm news (943,000), Today Tonight (923,000), The Good Doctor (613,000), Home And Away (612,000) and The Chase (516,000).
The Block-less Nine had to rely heavily on The Big Bang Theory, its night running thus: 6pm news (843,000), ACA (713,000), Young Sheldon (611,000), The Big Bang Theory (602,000) and a follow-up episode of Young Sheldon (550,000).
Ten’s other highlights included The Project (468,000), Eyewitness News (366,000) and FBI (366,000).
The ABC’s night went this way: 7pm news (680,000), 7.30 (589,000), Catalyst (403,000), Invictus Games Today (400,000) and David Attenborough’s Rise Of Animals (264,000).
