Tuesday TV Wrap: Farmers Wants A Wife Takes On Australian Survivor For Entertainment Champion

Does your ideal Tuesday night telly watching involve sexy farmers or sexy extreme campers? The choice was Australia’s last night, and ultimately, they went for farmers.

As Farmer Wants A Wife gears up to the final episodes, last night’s ep had a shock plot twist: one farmer sent home his two final girls. Zut Alors!

The drama boded well for Seven as the show took out top watched entertainment spot with 767,000 viewers, as per OzTAM’s metro data.

That being said, Australian Survivor continued to perform consistently well into its third night, scoring 730,000 viewers.

On top overall was Seven News, which had 1,256,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,098,000, while A Current Affair and ABC News had 778,000 and 768,000 viewers respectively.

Seven also had a big night with Home and Away, which had 738,000 viewers, while The Chase had 641,000.

Over on Nine, Beauty and the Geek had 607,000 and Hot Seat had 571,000.

For 10, The Project scored 575,000 viewers while 10 News First had 444,000 comedy news show The Cheap Seats launched to 460,000.

Finally, for the ABC, 7.30 had 648,000 viewers and political doco series Ms Represented with Annabel Crabb had 585,000.

Seven once again won the night with 32.2 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 24.0 per cent and Nework 10 with 21.2 per cent. The ABC TV Network had 15.5 per cent, while the SBS Network had 7.2 per cent.
