Last night’s ep of The Masked Singer Australia saw one of the judges actually correctly guess the identity of their secret celebrity performer.
In the scary baby costume was Ella Hooper, the lead singer of the ARIA-award winning band Killing Heidi, correctly predicted by Dannii Minogue. The reveal had 653,000 viewers, while the rest of the episode had an average of 545,000.
On top of entertainment last night was, once again, The Block, scoring 840,000 viewers, while other notables included SAS Australia at 592,000 and Home and Away at 604,000, as per OzTAM’s metro data.
Seven News scored the most viewers overall at 1,094,000, followed by Nine News at 967,000.
Nine also had A Current Affair with 802,000 viewers, Hot Seat with 475,000, The Hundred With Andy Lee at 459,000, Tipping Point with 329,000 and the arvo news at 324,000.
On the ABC, ABC News scored 693,000 viewers while 7.30 had 518,000.
Over at Seven, The Chase scored 526,000 viewers and at 10, The Project had 495,000, 10 News First had 376,000 and The Cheap Seats had 326,000.
The Nine Network won the night overall with 30.7 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Seven Network with 27.3 per cent and Network 10 with 18.8 per cent.
Next was the ABC TV Network with 14.8 per cent and the SBS Network with 8.4 per cent.
Looking now to OzTAM’s Total TV report for Tuesday September 21st, on top was Seven News with a total audience of 1,794,000 (metro: 1,109,000, regional: 638,000, BVOD: 45,000).
Next was Nine News with a total audience of 1,462,000 (metro: 1,036,000, regional: 382,000, BVOD: 43,000) and in third was The Block with a total audience of 1,431,000 (metro: 853,000, regional: 320,000, BVOD: 292,000).
The show with the highest lift on overnight was Seven’s SAS Australia at 37 per cent, bringing it to a total audience of 1,174,000 (metro: 586,000, regional: 270,000, BVOD: 183,000).
