Listnr’s Hamish & Andy beat Audioboom’s Case File again for first place in Triton Digital’s Australian Podcast Ranker for August 2022.
Over four episodes, Hamish and Andy pulled in 942,784 listeners and 2,145,330 downloads.
The duo were followed by Audioboom’s Case File, which wasn’t far behind with 809,029 listeners and 2,163,988 monthly downloads over just five episodes.
Teachers Trial was the real winner this month. It pulled in 462,057 monthly listens in third place with 970,286 downloads over 6 episodes.
7 am snagged fourth place with 433,434 monthly listeners and 1,523,738 monthly downloads over 22 episodes.
The Kyle and Jackie O Show fell and went back to fifth place from third, which racked in 342,071 listeners and 1.667,293 downloads over 93 episodes – you should never underestimate the pull of Kyle Sandilands.
In perhaps the most significant shake-up news, Life Uncut hosted by Bachelor alums Brittany Hockley and Laura Byrne sank from the fifth position all the way down to thirteen.
Still, the podcast pulled in 232,614 monthly listens and 753,575 downloads over two episodes and only released 2 episodes this month.
Honourable mentions also go to Nine’s Naked City which launched with 123,755 monthly listeners and 316,579 monthly downloads.
Meanwhile, Spotify’s Toni and Ryan brought 413,557 downloads over 20 episodes.
Yet again, the top three publishers are ARN’s iHeartPodcast Network Australia, LiSTNR (SCA), and Audioboom.
