Australian health and wellbeing network Tonic Health Media today announced its continued expansion, hiring Sev Celik as national agency director.
In her new role, Celik and her team will work directly with agency partners and key decision-makers to deliver tailored campaigns across Tonic’s leading network of health-focused media inventory around the country, as well as direct-to-consumer health website, www.mrDr.com.au.
Celik makes the move to Tonic from UnLtd, where she was responsible for the commercial management and development of sales channels.
Prior to this, her publishing, media and technology industry experience includes roles at eBay Australia, News Corp Australia, Carat Australia and Fairfax Media.
The new position reflects Tonic’s substantial growth online via www.myDr.com.au which has over 2
million visitors a month, as well as its 7,500 media assets in over 5300 GP, pharmacy and hospital
waiting areas across Australia.
Tonic CEO Dr. Matthew Cullen says the expansion strengthens its commercial team and is another step towards Tonic’s goal of improving health literacy and outcomes for all Australians.
“I’m delighted to welcome another accomplished and passionate media professional to our tonic team,” Dr. Cullen said.
“Sev has extensive experience and knowledge of the digital and print sales landscape, so she is the perfect person to lead our industry team.
“Sev comes to us highly recommended, and has a proven track record of connecting advertisers to target audiences, and achieving outstanding results”.
Celik said she is excited about joining Tonic Health Media and her new role: “I’m looking forward to joining a smart dynamic business that has gone from strength-to-strength and is genuinely committed to making a huge difference to the lives of all Australians”.
UnLtd CEO Chris Freel wished Celik all the best in her new role at Tonic Health Media: “Sev has been a brilliant ambassador for UnLtd and has done a tremendous job helping us achieve record highs.
“We will miss Sev but she will always be a part of the UnLtd family”.
