Network 10 took control of the entertainment offerings for Thursday night, where both Gogglebox and Mirror Mirror netted over 600,000 viewers.
Gogglebox is now on it’s fourteenth Australian season, proving there must be some immutable human desire to watch other people watch TV. The ep had 633,000 viewers.
Mirror Mirror also grew its audience for episode two, scoring 613,000 viewers. That’s 51,000 more than the first episode, which aired on Wednesday.
Seven News came top overall with 1,013,000 viewers, followed by Nine News with 1,005,000. A Current Affair had 741,000 viewers and ABC News had 688,000.
Also in entertainment was Seven’s Home and Away with 567,000 and The Chase with 522,000 viewers. The rest of the network’s night saw Home and Away – Late nab 508,000 viewers and The Front Bar score 381,000.
For Nine, Hot Seat had 471,000 viewers, RBT had 463,000 and a repeat of Australian Crime Stories landed 345,000.
Over at the ABC, 7.30 had 563,000 viewers, Foreign Correspondent had 387,000 and Sammy J had 361,000.
On 10, The Project had 482,000 viewers.
The Seven Network won the night overall with 27.6 per cent of the daily share, followed by the Nine Network with 24.7 per cent and Network 10 had 22.6 per cent.
The ABC TV Network had 16.3 per cent and the SBS Network had 8.8 per cent.
