TBWA New Zealand has skewered adland’s recent turbulence with a full-page ad in the New Zealand Herald.

In recent weeks, the advertising industry has seen a heady slew of change, including Jens Monsees’s departure from WPP, and Justin Mowday and Damon Stapleton leaving DDB to launch The Monkeys in New Zealand.

TBWA calls itself ‘The Disruption Agency’, and plays on that branding in the ad.

It reads “we would like to announce no changes to our current leadership team.”

“The advertising industry is going through major disruption at the top. And although we believe that disruption gives out clients’ business an unfair advantage, we’d like everyone to know that when it comes to people, it’s about stability.”

“So you can still call Catherine Harris (CEO) or Shane Bradnick (CCO) on their usual numbers. Whenever you like.”
