Snakk Media Appoints Sam Buchanan As Its First Chief Commercial Officer

Digital advertising player Snakk Media has announced the appointment of Sam Buchanan to the newly created position of chief commercial officer.

Buchanan joins Snakk Media from Fairfax Media, where he most recently worked as business group director, and prior to that, group agency director. Buchanan has also held roles at News Corp, Hardie Grant Media and regional TV network Prime.

Snakk Media CEO Joel Williams said: “Sam brings to Snakk Media a wealth of business expertise and has a well-earned reputation leading high-performing teams.

“Sam will help Snakk to consolidate its position as experts in engaging the mobile consumer and helping brands reach their desired audiences.”

Commenting on his appointment, Buchanan said: “I am thrilled to be joining Joel and the team at Snakk Media. With the launch of several new products, there has never been a more exciting time to be part of Snakk Media.”

Buchanan commenced his role at Snakk Media earlier this month.
