Scott Galloway Slams Facebook: “Democracy Is Dying In The Full Light Of day. Who’ll Step In & Lead When It Matters?”

By now you’ve undoubtedly heard about Facebook’s serious data breach of millions of its users.

And now, one of B&T’s favourite industry mavericks, US marketing professor, Scott Galloway, has absolutely unloaded on the tech behemoth and its CEO, Mark Zuckerberg.

In a stinging six-minute video posted to YouTube, Galloway slams Facebook – particularly Zuckerberg and Facebook CCO Cheryl Sandberg – saying the two and the board of directors had “refused to do anything that might endanger earnings or shareholder value”. Nor, he says, will politicians regulate the platform, because it’s what’s keeping them in power in the first place.
