The Council, which changes annually and is comprised of leading industry professionals across the marketing space, meet together twice a year to share their launch marketing experiences and contribute to white papers that help further industry knowledge in this specialised area.

As the media partner, B&T are excited to announce the members for 2019. They are: Dean Chadwick (Chief Marketing Officer, Velocity) Alexandra Tully (Brand Lead, Airtasker) Adam Ballesty (Director of Marketing – Sport, Foxtel) Daniel Gervais (Head of Marketing, Airbnb) Serena Leith (Director of Marketing Asia Pacific, Spotify), Nicholas Cornelius (Chief Marketing Officer, Pack and Send) and Maria Loyez (Chief Customer Officer, Vault Bank).

David Hovenden, CEO and editor in chief of B&T will be chairing the meeting.

The Council will be discussing international launches from Australia to the rest of the world, and global launches coming to Australia.

Following the Council meetings, detailed white papers are published to download for free, highlighting all the noteworthy findings of the session, detailing case studies and offering unparalleled insight into the world of launch marketing.

The debut Australian session’s whitepaper homed in on several key points, including: the issue of transparency and internal alignment, the evolution of company and brand, personalisation, and more in the context of launch marketing.

The second whitepaper explored themes such as the differences between corporates and start-ups when it comes to planning and executing a launch, the role of PR in a launch plan, and how to ensure customer-centricity throughout the launch process.

The Launch Marketing Council also operates in the UK and will soon be up and running in the US providing interesting insights for Australian exporters.
