Ray Hadley Abandons Microphone Midway Through This Morning’s Show

Ray Hadley has left the studio midway through his radio show this morning, leaving Deborah Knight to cover for the presenter.

Speaking on-air this morning, Hadley told listeners he had to go after a talk with a specialist, reports the Telegraph.

Hadley finished up with around 30 minutes left to go on his morning show.

“I’ve never done this before but as I told you last week I had a procedure done last Tuesday and I’ve been struggling ever since,” he told listeners.

“I had a discussion with my specialist during a newsbreak and he wanted me to come back in and see him immediately. I was hoping I could go for the next 35 minutes but I can’t.

“Deborah Knight has very kindly offered to assist me and she’s in the studio right now.”
