Quelle Surprise! Sunrise Sails Perilously Close To Its Own “Jacketgate” Fiasco

When will the wardrobe departments at the TV networks learn?

Last Friday, Seven’s Sunrise sailed perilously close to yet another “Jacketgate” debacle after three of four of its reporters appeared on screen at the same time wearing the very same bright pink colour.

The reporters – Natalie Barr, Bianca Stone, Samantha Brett and Amanda Bachmann – were discussing Friday’s extreme weather when it quickly became apparent no one had got the dress code memo. Thankfully, Brett managed to save the day when she opted for a white number.

Brett was the first to take to Twitter to make light of the fashion near miss: “We are in for a scorcher, but clearly I missed the pink memo!”

Barr followed up with the tweet: “I told you TWO HOURS AGO that it was Pink Friday.”

While Stone used social media to compare the incident to the Pink Ladies from the famed musical Grease.
