The reporters – Natalie Barr, Bianca Stone, Samantha Brett and Amanda Bachmann – were discussing Friday’s extreme weather when it quickly became apparent no one had got the dress code memo. Thankfully, Brett managed to save the day when she opted for a white number.
Brett was the first to take to Twitter to make light of the fashion near miss: “We are in for a scorcher, but clearly I missed the pink memo!”
Barr followed up with the tweet: “I told you TWO HOURS AGO that it was Pink Friday.”
While Stone used social media to compare the incident to the Pink Ladies from the famed musical Grease.
