Quantcast, the AI-powered advertising platform, has appointed sales leader Tom Weaving as its new managing director for Southeast Asia.
Weaving is responsible for driving revenue growth across Southeast Asia, prioritising Singapore, Hong Kong and other emerging markets in the region. His role will focus on rolling out Quantcast’s recently launched Q+ product. The product is an autonomous performance advertising solution that allows advertisers to reach their audiences across the open internet through a single ad set.
He will report to recently appointed vice president for APAC, Paul Sigaloff.
“Tom has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing commercial teams and driving commercial growth. This is an exciting appointment for Quantcast as we continue to build our presence across the region,” said Sigaloff.
Prior to joining Quantcast, Weaving spent nearly eight years at The Trade Desk, most recently as senior director of business development for South and Southeast Asia.
A programmatic native, Weaving also held senior sales and account manager roles at AOL, Adap.TV and Catcha Digital Asia, and served on the IAB Singapore Video Committee.
“Southeast Asia is at a pivotal inflection point in its digital maturity and brands need performance more than ever. I’m energised to lead our team in unlocking new levels of performance for our clients, ensuring they what they need to thrive in this complex landscape. Quantcast’s AI-powered platform helps advertisers cut through complexity, and I look forward to working alongside Paul and the wider APAC team to grow our presence here and build a team that puts clients’ performance first,” said Weaving.
