QMS is continuing its partnership with Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight presented by AAMI, supporting the 88th staging of the Christmas tradition at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Christmas Eve.
QMS has partnered with the event, which raises funds to support blind and vision-impaired children across Australia, for four consecutive years as part of its Q-Cares commitment to supporting the community.
As one of the media partners for Carols by Candlelight, QMS will showcase Vision Australia’s campaign across its premium digital large format network as well as The Convenience Network at 7-Eleven locations throughout Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, helping to drive awareness, boost ticket sales and encourage donations for children and families living with blindness or low vision.
“We’re incredibly proud to be supporting Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight for the fourth year in a row. This beloved Australian celebration brings the nation together at this special time and makes a real difference to the lives of children and families across the country,” QMS;s chief operating officer Sara Lappage said.
“Vision Australia’s work in providing specialised services to children who are blind or have low vision is more important than ever, and we’re honoured to help amplify their message and support their largest annual fundraiser. It’s a partnership that truly reflects the spirit of giving and QMS is delighted to be part of it,” Lappage added.
“We are excited to partner with QMS again to promote this important fundraiser. Each year, Vision Australia helps close to 2000 children to receive life-changing services. Thanks to partners like QMS, we are able to reach thousands of Australians and invite them to give back to our cause – helping children who are blind or have low vision to thrive, while enjoying an incredible night of festive performances,” Vision Australia’s general manager of fundraising and marketing Ian Finlayson said.
“Carols by Candlelight is more than a festive event – it’s an opportunity to create magical memories while raising vital funds for children who are blind or have low vision. We’re honoured to work alongside Vision Australia and their partner, QMS, to bring communities together to share in the magic of Christmas,” Suncorp’s executive general manager brand and customer experience Mim Haysom added.
Nine Network will broadcast the show live from 8 pm AEDT on Christmas Eve. Vision Australia Radio will also provide professional audio description through its local stations and online.
