Publicis Groupe ANZ CEO, Michael Rebelo, today announced the appointment of Skye Lambley to the position of Group Managing Director of Herd MSL.

The Publicis-owned PR group, Herd MSL includes agency brands N2N Communications, Fuel Communications and Touch Creative.

Lambley moves from her role as MD of N2N Communications to her new group position, effective immediately. She replaces Vanessa Liell as leader of Herd MSL, following Liell’s resignation to spend more time with her family.

Lambley has almost 20 years of corporate communications experience representing brands in Australia and across Asia Pacific. She joined N2N Communications in November 2018. Working in many diverse sectors, Lambley’s passion is in solving complex business problems by delivering creative ideas that are skilfully executed through integrated communications campaigns.

On her appointment, Rebelo said: “I’m excited to welcome Skye to her new role leading one of the most-awarded PR agency groups in the country. Since Skye joined us, she has proven to be a trusted advisor to our clients and a passionate leader to our people. Her collaborative spirit and adaptability within our Groupe makes her the perfect leader for our PR business.

“Skye’s promotion is a testament to the strong talent pool within our business. At Publicis Groupe, our fully-integrated PR offering is an important part of the diverse marketing and communications services that we are constantly evolving to help our clients navigate through the ever-changing business and consumer landscape.”

Lambley added: “Over the last 15 months, I’ve been lucky enough to work with a hugely talented, energetic and entrepreneurial group of communications professionals. I’m extremely proud to be leading this team and am so excited for what’s ahead for us and the clients that we work with.”

On Liell’s departure, Rebelo said: “Vanessa is a highly-regarded leader who over the years has championed excellence and integrity in Australia’s communications industry. She has also played an integral role in building Herd MSL’s market-leading reputation. I’d like to thank Vanessa for her contribution to the growth of the business, and wish her and her family the best of luck for the future.”

Liell said: “After 14 years, I’m delighted to transition our ‘Agency of the Year’ to the next generation of leaders, and congratulate the brilliant Skye Lambley on her appointment as Group MD. I’ve been fortunate to have an incredible, challenging and rewarding career with Herd MSL and Publicis; and the privilege to learn from such a talented, ambitious, fun and kind group of people in our group and industry. Thank you to our many clients, teams and colleagues who have been so significant in Herd MSL’s journey to now and our very successful future with Publicis.”
