Publicis Worldwide has announced the appointment of James Ansell to the role of digital experience director, charged with creating best-in-class solutions for clients, and digital experiences loved by users and businesses that drive engagement and growth.
Ansell has relocated to Brisbane and joins the Publicis Worldwide leadership team. In his newly-created position, Ansell will oversee a team of technologists, digital designers, developers, UX/UI, and producers.
On his appointment, Publicis Worldwide managing director, Simone Waugh said: “We’re investing in building a world-class digital experience team to integrate with our highly-acclaimed creative department. I’ve appointed James to lead this, as he’s a natural leader who first and foremost understands consumer behaviour. It is people-first thinking, rather than technology-first thinking that I was seeking.”
Ansell moves from his position as Client Partner at USTWO. “I’m delighted to join Publicis Worldwide at such an exciting time for the agency.
