Continuing to drive innovation for clients in the digital space, Sydney agency Pollen is pleased to announce the appointment of award-winning digital talent Adrian Wiggins who joins the team in the newly created role of user experience design director.
Wiggins brings over 15 years of experience to the position having run his own consultancy, Pure and Applied, specialising in digital strategy and user experience design for clients in media, government and the cultural sector. Previous to this, he worked as a Senior Consultant for Bienalto, and as a Senior Experience Architect for Fairfax Digital.
“I’m thrilled to be joining a team with the capability and profile that Pollen has for creating memorable, transformative digital experiences for clients,” Wiggins said.
“Creating new value calls for rock-solid process and high-grade finish. It’s rare to find industry-leading user experience design and digital execution together in the one place and Pollen’s design and technical leadership is in the first rank.”
Wiggins looks forward to working closely with the Pollen senior management team, including director Brett Mitchell, founder and creative director Ross Gales and newly hired client service director Sora Nobari.
“We are really pleased to bolster the senior team with someone whose impressive digital credentials and strong strategic approach will benefit not only our clients but also the entire digital and design team here at Pollen,” said Mitchell.
At Pure and Applied, Wiggins developed a five-year digital strategy for Sydney Living Museums, the site strategy and user experience for SBS’ award-winning 2011 Tour de France site, along with the workflow for ABC TV QandA moderation, leading to increased social engagement around the show.
