Opus Agency appointed Erica Seo as senior vice president, ASEAN and Charles Turner steps into the role of senior vice president, ANZ.
Both will report directly to Opus Agency President Dena Lowery.
The appointments build on Opus Agency’s growing presence across APAC, where its teams work with global and regional brands including Salesforce, AWS, UBS and Red Hat.
Recent work includes AWS Summit ASEAN across Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta for more than 16,000 attendees, while Opus Agency’s relationship with Salesforce spans more than two decades and includes World Tour programmes across Sydney, Tokyo, London and Paris.
Lowery said: “Our clients’ event portfolios are becoming more connected and more global, and we see more of that investment moving to APAC. A brand scaling into Singapore, Jakarta or Sydney wants the same connected team and understanding of its business it has in every other market, alongside people who know those cities and the suppliers in them.
“That is how we operate. With Erica leading our ASEAN growth and Charles leading ANZ, we’re strengthening that combination of local market expertise and global capability as we continue to grow across the region.”
Seo joins Opus Agency from Spalba, where she was Business Head, APAC, bringing more than a decade of experience across business strategy, operations and experiential marketing in Asia. She previously held senior roles at George P Johnson Experience Marketing, including director of business strategy, APAC and MD of GPJ Korea, as well as at Quintessentially’s brand experience agency QX.
As SVP, ASEAN, Seo will lead client growth, commercial performance and Opus Agency’s Singapore-based team, bringing her regional relationships and experience to the agency’s established capabilities across Southeast Asia.
Seo said: “What attracted me to Opus Agency is its strong foundation built upon genuine client relationships, paired with an ambitious vision for the future.
“Brands across Southeast Asia operate in a dynamic market where strong relationships and deep engagement are essential.
“By combining Opus Agency’s global capabilities with my regional experience and network, I’m confident we are uniquely positioned to elevate our offerings for our clients across ASEAN.
I’m thrilled to join the team and look forward to driving our next phase of growth.”
Turner brings two decades of experience across experiential marketing, integrated production and agency leadership, including two years at The Company We Keep (acquired by Opus Agency in 2025) and 12 years at George P Johnson Australia & New Zealand, where he progressed through senior production and general management roles to Head of Integrated Production.
As SVP, ANZ, Turner will lead Opus Agency across Australia and New Zealand, with responsibility for commercial performance, client growth, operations and the continued development of its regional capability.
Turner said: “The relationships our team has built in ANZ give us a strong starting point. We know the work, and we know the clients, and we have more expertise across Opus Agency to bring to our clients’ next brief.
“Together, Erica and I will focus on helping those relationships grow across more programmes and markets, and giving our team room to take their ideas further.”
