Here at B&T, we want to extend our sincerest apologies to Jaimee Wiggins (main image).
So why are we apologising to Wiggins? Well, we nominated Wiggins for her incredible achievements at The Pedestrian Group in our 30 Under 30 Media Sales/Account Manager category. Then by complete accident, we left her name off the nominees’ list on the night.
We promise the person behind the mistake is now banned from indulging in any PR packages and using the good instant coffee we stock in the work cupboard.
Yes, that’s right while Wiggins was looking her best she didn’t get the chance to see her name in the lights. A complete oversight and error and we are not impressed with ourselves!
While Wiggins didn’t take out the award on the night, it was an extremely competitive category and everyone is already a winner in our eyes.
Jaimee Wiggins (second left) and friends on the night…
There hasn’t been such stuff up like this since The Oscar’s accidentally gave best movie to La La Land when Moonlight was the actual winner.
So, we just thought we’d take a second to share what an incredible asset Wiggins is to our industry. Wiggins’ is bright, generous and energetic. Her quality of work is unrivalled and she’s known for her kindness and her ability to always be a team player.
Which explains why she went from a fresh rep in Brisbane to running half of Pedestrian’s sales team in less than five years. Her future ahead is so bright it is blinding – cue The Weeknd’s Blinding Lights.
Once again we are just truly sorry for our oversight and we can’t wait to see what she does next!
We promise we won’t forget you again! As Frank Sinatra sang, “Unforgettable that’s what you are!” And that’s what you will now always be to the B&T team.
