oOh!media has appointed Chris Eyres to lead its Western Australia sales.
Previously WA sales manager at SBS, he managed the company’s commercial relationships across TV, digital and radio. He also spent more than two years at Bauer Media in the state and held various senior sales leadership roles at Nine in Perth for more than 15 years.
Eyres will drive advertisers and agencies to oOh!’s out-of-home network in the state and across its national portfolio of digital and old-school signs.
During his extensive sales career, Eyres has been recognised with a number of industry awards and is currently a director of the UnLtd board in WA.
“Chris understands the media, advertising and agency landscape in Western Australia like few others. He’s worked at leading national media brands for close to 30 years, has a track record of success in delivering the right solutions for brands at scale and driving return on their marketing spend. We are delighted he’s leading oOh!’s growing sales operation in the state,” said Wade James, head of national sales – agency, oOh!.
Eyres added: “oOh! has built a strong presence across WA over recent years and as the business moves to a digital first future, I look forward to bringing my media experience and market understanding to oOh!, working alongside the team here, to continue its growth.”
He replaces Mark Treasure who after 13 years of working with oOh! is returning to his media representation business, Media Tonic.
