The Australian out-of-home advertising industry has been the steadiest medium over the past 12 months. This is backed by the Outdoor Media Association’s (OMA) half year net results that revealed the media revenue rose 6.5 per cent to $744.1 million for the same period in 2025.
Digital Out of Home accounts for 77.1 per cent of total revenue, an increase from last year’s 76 per cent for the same period.
All categories net revenue saw a YoY increase from the same period in 2025. In a breakdown of the categories, roadside billboards net revenue rose to $298.1 million from $293.7 million; other roadside inventory jumped to $168.7 million from $152.1 million; transport drove OMA’s net revenue to $118.1 million from $104.4 million and retail, lifestyle and other saw a little hit to, pulling in a net revenue of $159.3 million, up from $148.3 million
In addition to reporting strong half-year revenue results, the OMA is pleased to announce that StreetIQ has joined the organisation as a supply member.
StreetIQ specialises in digital OOH, providing a cloud-based platform that enables media owners, agencies and advertisers to manage, schedule and deliver digital campaigns across screen networks in real time.
