Oliver Grace present their creative work for youtime—a newly launched contextual ecommerce platform that welcomes users into a world of authentic wellbeing.
Working closely with youtime’s founder, Steve Terry, Oliver Grace helped realise his vision and took the existing creative direction to a whole new level; expanding and translating it into an immersive web experience. The result? A content-rich, experiential and intuitive digital world that celebrates beautiful design as much as it creates an alluring shopping destination for all your wellness needs.
Striking a balance between form and function
Oliver Grace’s brief from youtime was twofold: create a captivating digital environment for a modern consumer and produce pre-launch content for multiple platforms like website, social media and marketing material.
To find the perfect blend between practical and aspirational, Oliver Grace identified a central governing idea of ‘connection’. A theme which inspired them to devise a brand presence that is premium, warm and uniquely grounded in ‘you’—the person investing time and energy consuming the content.
“When I first heard the words ‘authentic wellbeing ‘I was immediately intrigued. It was really important to me that we create a digital atmosphere that genuinely made people feel invited, and ultimately became a place they wanted to keep coming back to. I think we achieved that with beautiful design, intuitive UX and engaging content.” – Nick Lehrain , Oliver Grace co-founder and creative director.
In fact, respecting the youtime community’s time was an integral part of the Oliver Grace user experience exploration. It was this consideration that led them to develop unexpected elements like a light and dark mode toggle, or integrated shop buttons that make this website a place you love to get lost in.
Creative vision brought to life
Building on Steve’s original vision, conceived in Sweden with brand agency Nudla—Oliver Grace were thrilled to apply a design thinking approach to translate the youtime brand to a digital setting. Working closely with youtime’s other partners including development partner Convert Digital they developed a flexible design system and information architecture that laid the foundations for a truly unique shopping adventure. The result—a clean yet immersive journey that encourages exploration and discovery.
