Old Habits Die Hard For Ben & Liam Who Have Shared Their triple J Hottest 100 Votes

Ex triple J breakfast boys Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton have shared their votes for this year’s triple J’s Hottest 100, proving old habits die hard.

Harvey and Stapleton are now at Nova and host a national breakfast show together – so if you did listen you are likely drinking a coffee while doing so.

The boys took to Instagram to share their votes – proving you can take the boys out of triple j but you can’t take the triple j out of the boys.

Even more cheekily they seemed to be picking pretty classic Nova songs by the worlds most famous musicians – Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Adele and of course The Squid Games soundtrack – not exactly grassroots tunes.

They captioned it, “You guys done your votes too or?”

The post was met with some pretty funny comments, one user wrote, “Damn. You really got Nova’s entire setlist into a single Hottest 100 vote”

Another, “This bit has so many layers”

and, “Very surprised not to see Montero.”

All jokes aside, clearly the announcement of their votes is good publicity for them and some buzz for triple J. So everyone wins!
