NOVA Entertainment will be celebrating International Women’s Day, both internally and with a number of the company’s digital assets, starting this week.
NOVA Entertainment’s mobile-only, millennial platform GOAT, will celebrate International Women’s Day across the entire week.
Each day, GOAT is debuting a different masthead banner featuring iconic women from TV shows and films including Kath & Kim, Broad City and Steel Magnolias.
The final two banners will be revealed on Thursday and on International Women’s Day itself, Friday, March 8.
GOAT launched an ongoing series GOAT Confessionals in January this year.
The series features video interviews that showcase a diverse range of responses to hot topics and life’s questions.
To coincide with International Women’s Day, GOAT Confessionals will celebrate and harness the supportive vibe that women offer each other, including a Confessional that looks at where sisterhood thrives (in an unexpected place) and the best compliments women give to one another.
All week, GOAT will also feature content around International Women’s Day that informs, entertains and offers solutions from both Australia and abroad.
GOAT editor Melissa Matheson said: “GOAT is all about standing for something — an opinion, a passion, a worthy cause.
“International Women’s Day week is a celebration of the remarkable women who inspire us and the actions we can take to lift each other up.
“It’s all too easy for young people to feel overwhelmed by the world, but the GOAT community aims to offer solutions — with sass — to make things better.
“During International Women’s Day week, we will be informing, with takes from across Australia and abroad, and videos that will lift you up and help laugh it all off”.
The Nova Network’s digital offerings across Facebook, Instagram and novafm.com.au will also reflect International Women’s Day.
Nova’s platforms will provide content, video, quotes and motivational speeches, with a celebrity slant.
NOVA Entertainment will also have a strong focus internally on International Women’s Day including a range of celebrations, access to a library of motivating female authors and a special brunch, hosted by CEO Cathy O’Connor, featuring inspirational speakers.
