Foxtel Media has appointed senior marketing professional Nicole Florio as Head of Marketing and Communications.
Florio has extensive leadership experience in the media and events space, both in Australia and internationally.
She was formerly head of marketing at Fairfax Events, and most recently has been working in the US as executive vice president, marketing for Motiv Group. Florio draws on a wide breadth of experience and has previously held senior leadership marketing roles in sports, tourism and events and hospitality.
Florio’s remit focuses on setting and executing the brand and marketing strategy for the Foxtel Media nationally, including media budget allocation. Her role also involves strategic counsel and developing content and events for Foxtel Media.
Foxtel Media CEO Mark Frain said: “Nicole has been instrumental in developing cutting edge marketing and commercial strategies for some of the world’s largest events, and we’re excited to have her bring her skills and experience to Foxtel Media. Nicole already has strong relationships with key industry partners.
“These will be vital as she leads the trade marketing strategy for Foxtel Media and our channel stakeholders across all our owned, earned and paid channels.”
Florio added: “I am thrilled to be back home in Australia and be working for one of the country’s most engaging and innovative media brands, Foxtel Media.

She starts at Foxtel Media immediately.
