The weekday news podcast dives into hot-button issues and headlines that capture people’s attention.

Featuring interviews with fellow news.com.au journalists, the 20-minute podcast aims to break down the big stories, and provide insights with newsmakers and trendsetters.

News.com.au editor-in-chief Lisa Muxworthy said: “What readers love about news.com.au is its ability to highlight what they really care about.”

“We approach news from the audience’s perspective and can balance hard news with funny, inspiring and quirky stories adding dimension and intrigue.

“Our audience wants to connect and understand the world around them, and now we can deliver more of that via a new medium.”

Bucklow currently hosts The Newsroom, another news.com.au podcast that delivers the headlines of the day in less than 5 minutes. He will continue to host The Newsroom alongside I’ve Got News For You.

News Corp Australia’s head of audio Del Fordham said: “I’ve Got News For You is the serious news podcast’s rogue second cousin.

“We’ve got an outstanding host in Bucky and we’re really pleased to be bringing something fresh to the daily news podcast market.”

I’ve Got News For You is produced by News Corp Australia’s on-demand audio division NewsCast. The podcast is available through the news.com.au app, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcatchers from today.
