New Australian Circuits Announced For Cash Converters Supercars Eseries

Two new Australian circuits and endurance races at some of Australia’s most historic tracks headline the return of Supercars’ Cash Converters Eseries in 2022.

Iconic Australian brand Cash Converters returns as naming rights sponsor of the series in 2022, building on the success of the inaugural partnership with the eseries in 2021.

This year’s competition will feature rounds running on Wednesday nights from July 20 to August 24. In 2022, there will be two endurance events and one Fans’ Choice in the series that will combine Supercars main game drivers and pro gamers.

Those events will be virtual races at the famous Mount Panorama circuit in Bathurst and for the first time, the historic Sandown circuit in Melbourne. Also joining the competition in 2022 will be Victoria’s Winton circuit, that has recently been added to the iRacing online platform.

The competition will be broadcast live in prime time television on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, 7plus, Sky New Zealand, Youtube, Facebook and Twitch.

The hybrid framework model will consist of two championships within the series: The Pro Series – with elite gamers representing Supercars teams and major brands, competing for a share of $26,000 in prize money.

The All Stars Series also returns and will consist of main game Supercars and Dunlop Super2 drivers. For the first time Supercars Teams will be competing each week for a $1000 cash donation for the charity of their choice.

Cash Converters senior marketing manager, Nichola Strasser said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Supercars again for the eseries in 2022. For us, this high octane sponsorship makes sense and is the perfect fit for us with our love of gaming, whether it’s retro or state-of-the-art like the eseries.”

“We’re looking forward to building on the success of the 2021 series and seeing what our drivers can make possible this year.”

General Manager of Commercial at Supercars, Jamie Black said the Supercars team was proud to be partnering once again with Cash Converters.

“Over the past two years the Supercars Eseries has thrived; making headlines around the globe with drivers from F1 to NASCAR, along with welcoming famous faces away from the motorsport arena,” Black said.

“We look forward to working with the Cash Converters team once again in 2022 to continue this success.”

A full schedule of races, Pro Gamer Draft information and new initiatives for the series will be announced closer to the opening round on Wednesday July 20.
