Nine’s popular endurance reality show, Australian Ninja Warrior is back for season three, with this year’s debut raking in an impressive 1.010 million viewers according to OzTam’s overnight metro numbers.
Despite Nine nabbing top entertainment show, Seven brought in the most overall viewers with 31 per cent of last night’s eyeballs. Nine was second with 28.8 per cent, 10 had 17.2 per cent, ABC did 15.6 and SBS nabbed 7.3 per cent.
Seven’s 6pm news was Monday’s top show of the night with 1.081 million viewers. Other standouts for the network were The Chase (649,000), Home And Away (693,000), Wimbledon Day 7 (655,000) and House Rules (543,000).
10’s night went thus far: Masterchef (606,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (598,000) and The Project (484,000).
Nine’s 6pm news did 978,000, ACA had 888,000 and Hot Seat managed 605,000.
The ABC’s 7pm news pulled 628,000, Back Roads did 554,000, 7.30 had 539,000, Four Corners pulled 525,000 and Media Watch did 475,000.
