Some 549,000 viewers tuned in to the second instalment of 10’s Lindy Chamberlain: The True Story last night which, oddly, was some 184,000 more than Sunday’s debut.
According to OzTAM metro numbers, 10 had a good night on the back of the dingoes, Have You Been Paying Attention? (636,000), The Project (546,000) and 10 New First (382,000).
Nine won the night with 29.1 per cent of all of the night’s eyeballs (all channels) thanks namely to The Block that did 837,000.
It was oh-so-close for second spot, with Seven (22.9 per cent) just pipping 10 (22.5 per cent).
Despite its strong Monday line-up of news and a current affairs, the ABC could only do 18.1 per cent and SBS took home 7.4 per cent.
In the battle of the 6pm news bulletins, Seven overturned Sunday night’s result, it’s 6pm outing managing 1.067 million to Nine’s 959,000. ACA had 755,000.
For Seven, The Chase did 556,000 and Home And Away had 552,000.
Nine’s Hot Seat posted 522,000.
The ABC’s evening ran thus: 7pm news (771,000), Australian Story (639,000) 7.30 (590,000), Four Corners (531,000) and Media Watch (487,000).
