German multinational automotive corporation Daimler is reportedly reviewing its global media account.
Daimler is looking for fresh assistance on the account, after appointing Publicis Groupe as the international network and digital agency for its luxury subsidiary brand Mercedes-Benz in February, according to Campaign.
Omnicom’s Foundation is the incumbent agency on the account in Australia, having been appointed to it in 2004.
OMG handles Daimler’s media in the US, while Zenith manages most of the international markets, and Wavemaker takes care of a number of markets in Southeast Asia.
B&T understands that Foundation and Zenith are both pitching for the local part of the account. Both agencies declined to comment when contacted by B&T.
