Just under two million Australians tuned into Nine’s re run of last year’s San Francisco episode. A total TV national reach of 756,000 people bared witness as the Guides explored the famous Californian city of San Francisco – with its steep hills, new-tech and old hippies – before going wild at the stunning Yosemite National Park. The repeat ran during MAFS’ usual timeslot of 7:30.
Fans will have to stay patient for the new season. Filming has officially wrapped up, but Nine still hasn’t released a date to fans for when they will be able to watch their favourite Aussie travellers.
From Ireland, Tanzania’s Serengeti, to Rio de Janeiro no destination is safe as the Travel Guides return in the ninth season of Travel Guides.
Returning is the Fren family, Matt and Brett, Kevin and Janetta, Kev, Dorian and Teng, and Karly and Bri, who will be serving up their uniquely Aussie perspectives on some of the most epic global destinations.
Another six pairs join the cast in 2026. None bigger than Love Island Australia besties Callum Hole and Mitch Hibberd.
Home and Away continued flying the flag for Seven. Last night’s episode captured a total TV national reach of 1,541,000 and an average audience of 1,014,000.
Network 10’s The Dog House—a show where rescue dogs are matched with new owners at the Animal Welfare League NSW in Kemps Creek—was the broadcasters most watched entertainment program of the evening. This was thanks to a reach of 561,000 and an average audience 242,000.
