We’ve been absolutely blown away by the talent unearthed as part of our Women Leading Tech awards. So much so that we’ve decided to share all of our finalists with you.
For a company like Quantium that deals in data, the calibre of data scientists is always going to be nothing short of exceptional.
This is exemplified by senior analyst – product and technology Stephanie Morris.
Throughout 2019, Morris helped created Q.Promotions – one of Quantium’s most analytically complex products to date.
On this project, Morris applied predictive modelling and machine learning algorithms to help retailers determine which products should be placed on promotion in their stores in order to
improve sales and profit.
Morris is responsible for building the core models that power the tool and last year took on a leadership role to deliver the product to a new retailer.
Here she managed a team of six analysts to deliver 38 new predictive models, delegating tasks amongst the team, and liaising with the customer to understand the data and meet requirements.
Additionally, she has played an active coaching role within the company instilling in junior peers the best practice guidelines, tools and formal processes for analytics practiced at
Quantium.
