Working as a marketer with PayPal, Danielle Grant’s greatest achievement for 2019 went beyond the remit of product marketing.
Grant led the ‘Give Better’ holiday campaign in Australia, which encouraged Australians to purchase ‘good’ gifts.
This included sustainable products and promoting businesses with a social conscience.
The campaign was also devised to to drive consumer transactions across PayPal’s four revenue streams – SMB, Large Enterprise, CBT and Give.
Grant and her team featured offers and partnerships across each stream aligned to peak shopping moments to give existing PayPal customers more reasons to pay with PayPal at checkout.
The campaign also generated significant media interest.
It followed on from the previous #BuyFromTheBush campaign, which was launched on Instagram in October 2019.
The campaign encouraged Australians to shop from small businesses in drought-affected regions.
PayPal partnered with #BuyFromTheBush to create a gifting portal designed to help 7+ million PayPal customers purchase their Christmas gifts from these SMBs.
Grant also acted as PayPal’s ‘Shopping Expert’ throughout 2019 and was a key spokesperson participating in media interviews for campaigns throughout the year.
In this role she helped drive significant consumer outreach over the year, including appearing in a two-minute Sunrise segment to launch PayPal’s mCommerce Trends Report.
