Just because we’ve postponed our Women Leading Tech awards doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate all of the incredible talent in the industry.
A true leader in data science, Mohadeseh Ganji leads AI practice and advanced analytics at Mondo.
Here she has set up the AI strategy, with focus on building enduring capability and accelerating the impact.
With expertise in data and analytics, she has also applied this knowledge towards identifying the key projects that will deliver the maximum value.
To achieve all of this, she has had to work to sure up the team around her.
To support continuous learning and development of my team, Ganji established a data-science community of practice which is a series of learning and upskilling sessions.
She also attracted 5 external top talents to join her team in 2019 to fill the gap and boost the delivery.
This development has included the creation of an internship program for female postgraduate students to ensure diversity and inclusion in the team.
She also provided regular mentoring for two of my colleagues and two female young professionals to help them advance in their career.
She was also recognised nationally by Institute of Analytics Professionals Australia (IAPA) which awarded me the 5th rank (1st woman) among the “top 25 analytics leaders Australia” award in 2019.
She is now working with IAPA to promote diversity and inclusion in analytics domain.
