Mark Murray, has become a partner of mobile customer experience company Geronimo and taken the role of chief operating officer as the business continues to expand and build its capabilities.
A marketer with more than 20 years’ experience, Mark Murray (featured image) joins Geronimo following an extensive career in financial services, including three years as CMO at Westpac owned wealth management arm BT Financial.
Prior to that, he worked at Commonwealth Bank for more than a decade rising to general manager, leading consumer marketing for over five years.
Murray will work alongside Geronimo founder and CEO Matthew Hunt to further capitalise on the increasing demand from brands for end-to-end customer experiences across mobile platforms.
Murray commented: “Geronimo is the leading mobile CX specialist in Australia and I’m excited to be investing in the business as we embark on our next phase of accelerated growth.

Through its Think, Create and Connect methodology, Geronimo offers a full suite of services including business and technology consulting, CX, UX and UI design, integrated creative development, media, data and analytics to connect people, products and brands across the mobile ecosystem.

Established in 2015, Geronimo works with a number of leading agencies and brands including Blackmores, Tabcorp, Woolworths and Jurlique.
In 2017 it acquired near-field communication (NFC) specialist Tapit Media, in addition to digital creative agency Digital Media Group (DMG).
