Men’s Gear Blog Man of Many Wins Best Media Site in the Pedestrian.TV 2014 Blogster Awards.

An idea hatched over a few beers and a passion for “all things cool and sharp” led to the development of Man of Many which starred last week in winning the Best Tech/Design/Media category in the 2014 Pedestrian.TV Blogster Awards.

Founded by Frank Arthur and Scott Purcell, two good mates from Sydney, Man of Many has quickly gained a dedicated following of mensearching for the latest trends in consumer products, culture and style since its launch in early 2013. The site now has over 100,000 pageviews and 40,000 unique visits per month.

Scott Purcell said that Man of Many provides a real niche for men looking for up to date information trending products whether its technology, fashion, cars or accessories.

“There was a real shortage of blogs and websites featuring the type of things we enjoyed, so we decided to create one ourselves. It soon developed into a bit of a passion about keeping ourselves and our like-minded readers abreast of fresh, exciting and unique brands and innovations, as well as celebrating timeless classics.

“This has led to a growing collaboration with brands that share the same values, giving readers both early access and relatively unique views on trends and products,” said Purcell.

The site is heavily geared towards the savvy, 25-40 year old professional males, who are early adopters, trend setters and and opinion leaders. It’s a demographic that appreciates quality, aesthetic elegance, great workmanship and inherent usefulness; as well as lifestyle stories relevant to their tastes.

Arthur and Purcell are now looking to build on their success in winning this prestigious award. They are aiming to offer exclusive opportunities to advertisers who understand the unique value of Man of Many’s targeted readership.

“We’re currently running a combination of affiliate sales, banner advertising and sponsored content and will continue to create new and engaging stories in collaboration with brands that fit well with our relatively affluent audience of professional men. We have some exciting stories on the horizon, with plans including more photo shoots, videos, interviews and travel stories. The Pedestrian.TV award is a big step forward for us,” Purcell said.
