A ginger moggie has stolen the show during a live TV interview on the rather serious subject of ongoing political tensions in Poland.
Polish academic Dr Jerzy Targalski was being interviewed by Dutch television channel Nieuwsuur from his home when his ginger puss, Lisio, decided to perch itself atop the good doctor’s noggin.
Unfazed by Lisio’s attention, Targalski bravely soldiers on through the interview while simply brushing the cat’s tail out of his face.
Apparently, Targalski is a regular commentator on the show and it’s not the first time his puss has gatecrashed an interview. Check it out the feline fun below:

It’s just yet another reminder of the perils of live TV reporting from an academic’s home. This, of course, was amplified last year when Professor Robert Kelly now-famously had his interview hijacked by his kids and, in turn, became one of the funniest moments in television history.
